Parthenocissus quinquefolia

This vigorous climbing vine rapidly covers walls, sheds and fences with a mat of five-lobed leaves which turn a brilliant scarlet in autumn.It is in the same family as grapevines, climbing by stem tendrils and small sucker pads,   and produces small clusters of (inedible) black berries.
