Phyllostachys aureosulcata 'Aureocaulis'
The bright gold canes of this bamboo are unusual - they sometimes produce strange zig-zag bends without any obvious cause, giving them the common name of 'Crookstem bamboo'. Canes have vertical green stripes and them, and reach 4-5 metres in sunny positions.
