Zantedeschia aethiopica

These South African perennials can survive the winter in garden borders in milder areas of the UK, but they are safer if they have their crowns in water where they thrive. The glossy arrow-shaped leaves are topped by long-lasting white funnel flowers typical of all the arum family.
