Solomon's Seal sawfly larvae have amazing appetites

Solomon's Seal sawfly larvae can destroy plants in a very short time once they hatch out and start feeding; at least this year the plants managed to flower for a couple of weeks before the voracious feeders demolished all the foliage apart from the stems and midribs.
