Clematis durandii

This clematis comes into flower in June and continues over a long period into the autumn.This is one of the non-clinging clematis, with long stems which can scramble through other shrubs. The flowers are medium-sized, indigo blue with a clear series of grooves along the length of each of the five sepals.
