Iris 'Holden Clough'

Iris 'Holden Clough'

This is a striking cultivar of Iris pseudacorus -  'Holden Clough' is named after the Lancashire nursery where it was bred. It likes moist border soil and has golden brown flowers with purple veining, and can still flower in partial or relatively deep shade, which may indicate that Iris foetidissima is involved in its parentage.
