Viburnum plicatum 'Lanarth'
This cultivar of the Japanese Snowball is probably 'Lanarth', a large shrub with tiered spreading branches of deciduous leaves which colour to a strong reddish-purple in autumn. The flat sprays of showy white flowers are like lacecap hydrangeas.
