Lunaria annua

Honesty can be an annual as its name implies, but generally it grows as a biennial, setting seeds in summer which grow on over winter for purple flowers the next spring. The toothed leaves can be variegated with white splashes, and there is a white-flowered form.  Silver disks from the seedpods are often used in flower arranging.
