Sorbus aucuparia

Rowan is an excellent small garden tree, with finely divided foliage which turns rich orange in autumn and flowers and berries (usually orange-red, but 'Joseph Rock' has yellow) that attract wildlife. It does best on neutral to acid soils but will grow on chalk.
