Deter moles (2)

Sonic repellers use intermittent high frequency sounds which moles don't like; you can buy battery powered versions or solar powered ones, but they need to be embedded deeply into the mole's run (usually at an active burrow - look for freshly turned soil on top of the dry soil of the molehills) for the sound vibrations to annoy the mole more than other garden users. Use a wooden stake or tent peg to make the hole deep enough and avoid damaging the solar panel as you push it into place. If fresh molehills appear, move the repeller to try and direct the tunnelling away from your lawn.
