Corydalis solida

Corydalis solida

This pretty perennial  thrives in moist, shady habitats; it is grown for its deeply divided, ferny leaves and the narrow, long-spurred purple flowers held well above them. It spreads readily, and goes dormant in summer, dying back to the tubers which give it the common name 'Solid-rooted fumewort'.
