Unknown seeds ( like these from a mysterious seedpod found in a jacket pocket) can often be identified on The Seed Site which has excellent identification pictures of seeds and seedpods. Now that the seedpod has split open to release its beautifully-packed contents, it can be identified as Tweedia coerulea (syn. Oxypetalum coeruleum), a tender perennial with striking sky blue flowers.
