Looking after jasmine
1st January 2021
After the first flush of flowers, the jasmine throws out many new long shoots and as it's generally sold in a very small pot it requires potting on at this stage. The half-hardy climber can be kept in a cool conservatory or porch and the new growth trained in on a trellis where it will flower once again - in very sheltered areas of the country, it can survive outside.
