Look after your Phalaenopsis

Moth orchids like consistently warm conditions all year round, and hate fluctuations so avoid draughts and radiators and aim for a good19–30°C during the day and 16–19°C at night. They like bright indirect light and hate overwatering - they are generally in an open bark-chip compost. After flowers fade cut back the old stalk to just above the second node (joint) beneath the spent flowers and a new flowering side-shoot will often form.
