Look out for glitter plants

Garden centres and supermarkets are already beginning to carry Christmas plants and flowers, and for those who feel the need to buy plants covered with glitter, there are poinsettias with added 'bling'. As the glitter is on the top of the bracts it doesn't actually block stomata or otherwise harm the plant, but it may not being doing much for the environment!
