Perhaps this should also be a 'weed to watch'? The Russian or mile-a-minute vine is in the knotweed family, a vigorous smothering deciduous climber which is covered with long streamers of pink-tinged white flowers in late summer. Generally it overwhelms all plants in its path, so plant with care.
