Lobelia laxiflora var. angustifolia

This is a borderline-hardy perennial originating in Mexico, with narrow lance-shaped leaves and tubular red flowers with yellow throats. It dies back to the ground in winter, and spreads through underground rhizomes if you can give it a free draining soil and sunny aspect.
