Weedwatch 9: white deadnettle

This creeping perennial ( Lamium album) is a weed of waste ground, gardens and disturbed soil; its square stems and hairy leaves make it look very like the stinging nettle, but the hairs are harmless and the white flowers contain nectar valuable to insects.
