Weedwatch 6: dwarf mallow

Dwarf mallow (Malva neglecta) is sometimes called common mallow; it's an edible annual weed of cultivated ground, particularly common on dry soils, and it reaches about 60cm with pinkish lilac veined flowers. It forms a deep taproot, but  it spreads by seed.
