Oenethera lindheineri

Oenethera lindheimeri

Gaura lindheimeri is now confusingly renamed Oenethera lindheimeri (does it look like an evening primrose?). The dainty white flowers, held on long wand stems, are produced for many months in the late summer. There are dwarf cultivars, but the straight species will reach more than 1 metre and may need some unobtrusive support.
