Buddleja lindleyana

Buddleja lindleyana

This buddleja is sometimes mistaken for a wisteria - the long panicles of mauve blossoms at the end of each shoot are so much slimmer and more delicate than B. davidii's flowers. Its generally drooping habit means it benefits from support to allow a 'fountain' form to develop.
