Sow Rainbow Chard

22nd August 2020

Sow Rainbow Chard

You can sow Swiss or Rainbow Chard from spring right through to September, and it will crop to November; the ornamental leaves and stems look just as good in containers and bordersl as in  a vegetable plot. Vitamin-rich leaves make a colourful addition to stir fries and soups and very young, tender leaves can be eaten in salads.

We are featuring rainbow plants to support Warwickshire Pride today, and to congratulate Daniel Browne, BEST's administrator, for his hard work in organising today's very special Virtual Pride Festival.
