Know when to harvest sugar snap and snow peas

Snow peas are often called mangetout, but so are sugar snap peas, and they need to be harvested differently. Mangetout peas are ready to eat while still flat, as soon as pods form, but sugarsnap peas need to be left to fill out. The pods themselves are fleshy and sweet and can be eaten with the peas inside.
