Be careful when flame weeding

 Foliage which overhangs paths will scorch easily as heat rises, and anything with volatile oils (cistus for example, or conifer hedging) can ignite easily. In the same way old, decaying wood can smoulder unobtrusively and then suddenly burst into flame! ( The gate survived, but may need some extra rabbit-proofing...)
