Sambucus nigra f.porphyrophylla 'Eva' = BLACK LACE

BLACK LACE is the trade name for the very popular elder cultivar 'Eva': the foliage is very finely cut, dramatically black, and the flowerheads are flushed with pink. The flowers and elderberries are just as edible as the wild form, but if you prune it hard for the foliage you won't see many flowers.
