Clean up evergreen grasses

After the winter, some evergreen grasses are looking rather sad; old and dead leaves can be removed by 'combing' them, and a garden rake will help to clean up larger clumps. Once you have cleared away the dead material you can decide if you need to split up the more invasive species.
