As plants are just starting into growth, you may have moved shrubs or split clumps of herbaceous plants like these chives. You will need to keep them well watered even though the last few months have been so wet and the grouns is moist under the surface - the wind will dry them out before they can establish new roots to take up water properly from the soil.
