Euphorbia characias ssp wulfenii

This Euphorbia makes a useful specimen plant or in borders with its erect stems of grey-green foliage; and although it isn't long-lived it seeds itself freely so that new plants are always available. In spring, the greenish-yellow bracts around the tiny flowers glow in the sunshine.
