Tackle blanket weed in ponds

This warm spell is ideal to tackle pond maintenance - the mild spring has allowed blanket weed to proliferate, but until now the weather hasn't really made the job of fishing out blanket weed very appealing.Pull out as much as you can by twisting it around a cane or broom.
