Iberis sempervirens

This tough and reliable sub-shrub has clusters of white flowers over a period of about three months from late winter through the spring, with sporadic flowerings later in the year. It's evergreen and the woody stems can be trimmed back if it begins to get leggy. It looks good in  rock or gravel gardens - free-draining conditions suit it best, and it can die back in very wet soils.
