Narcissus 'Arctic Bells'
This lovely cultivar of N. bulbocodium is widely available in garden centres this spring; the creamy-white trumpets face outwards and upwards, showing the golden stamens inside. An old name for N. bulbocodium is the hoop petticoat daffodil, but to modern eyes they look more like megaphones or loudspeakers for a public address system..
