Clear up annual weeds

Clear up annual weeds when you get the chance ( in between downpours). Weeds like cleavers (Galium aparine) germinate in the autumn, then grow away as soon as temperatures start to rise. At this time of year it is easy to spot them and pull out the shallow roots.
