Euphorbia x martinii 'Ascot Rainbow'

Plant of the Day is one more Euphorbia, this time E. x martinii 'Ascot Rainbow'. Gold variegated foliage is tinged with red in cold weather, then green bracts open out over red flowers. This perennial makes a superb specimen in winter containers, after which it can be planted out into the garden.
