Certificate in Plant Growth, Propagation and Development
RHS Level 2: Theory Course

Course content:
- Plant classification, structure and function
- Understanding plant propagation
- Plant nutrition and the root environment
- Maintaining plant health
Duration: The course runs at Ryton on Saturdays for 28 weeks, from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm, and will run from February 2013 in Oxfordshire as a day or evening option.
How each course is taught and assessed:
You will study 4 units.
The course is classroom based; teaching consists of lectures, practical demonstrations and plant identification sessions. Each unit is assessed by a short written examination set by the RHS in February and June each year.
There is no compulsory course work, but you will be given the opportunity to try sample examination questions if you are going take the examination.
Achievement: When you have passed exams in all the units, the RHS will award a L2 Certificate in Plant Growth, Propagation and Development.
Note: If you have opted not to undertake the examinations for either course but work through all the exercises and practice questions we will issue a certificate of attendance.
