RHS Level 3: Theory Course

L3 Garden Planning Cert

Course content:

  • Garden survey techniques and design principles
  • Selection and use of landscaping elements in the garden
  • Setting out and construction of landscaping elements in the garden
  • A range of specialist elements in the establishment of garden and urban plantings

You can study individual units, or enrol for the complete Certificate.

Each of the four units is assessed by a short written examination set by the RHS in February and June each year.

There is no compulsory course work, but you will be given the opportunity to try sample examination questions if you are going take the examination.

Achievement: Achievement: When you have passed exams in all the units, the RHS will award a L3 Certificate in Garden Planning, Construction and Planting.

Note: If you have opted not to undertake the examinations for either course but work through all the exercises and practice questions we will issue a certificate of attendance.

RHS Practical courses: Level 2  Ryton (Friday am ) three places; (Saturday pm) one place, and one in February; Level 2 North Moreton (Thursdays) course full, next places Sept 2015. For Level 3 Practical we have some places at both centres starting Jan.
